Lavender Sugar

Morocco accounted for nearly 90% of the world’s production of mint in 2019 followed by Argentina, Mexico, and Japan.

Of course one of the ways the Moroccans use mint is in mint tea, which is loved by many French people.

I love it mint tea so here is my recipe for Mint tea.

Mint Tea

Ingredients

1 tbsp of green tea
Bunch of Fresh mint
2 tbsps of caster sugar

Method

  1. Place the green tea in a teapot and add a small amount of boiling water

  2. Then add the mint and fill the pot with boiling water

  3. Add the sugar and allow to sit for a few minutes then pour. You can replace the sugar with honey, agave syrup or another sweetener that you prefer
