In 2012, I spent the year living in and eating my way around Paris to discover the secrets and food culture that make Paris one of the world’s great culinary cities.
I returned to Australia at the end of the year and won a position on the 2013 TV series of Masterchef Australia. After this experience, I realised food was my true p.assion and that I was destined to keep cooking, tasting and eating! I subsequently established Queenie’s Food Tours in Melbourne, running food tours around Melbourne and to France.
In 2016, I took a pretty bold move to pack up with my partner and dogs and move permanently back to Paris. Many of ours friends thought we were crazy (including our dogs who had to travel all this way). Sometimes you need to take big steps and, besides, the dogs didn’t realise how much fun it would be to sit at a Parisian café for hours.
After completing a patisserie course at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, I now run tours, a video channel on YouTube with weekly updates and a blog on this site.
While my love of food crosses continents, European food is my passion, so now I spend my time between Melbourne and France… and a range of other places in between!
My moto is whatever you do, do it fabulously!
